This method is a unique approach using complexes for basic acute or chronic concerns. Each complex is a combination of several remedies. They were designed to promote health, to maintain chronic conditions from worsening over time, and to support acute health issues in order to reduce suffering and lessen the necessity for invasive, harmful or expensive treatments later on.
In this way, this method was precisely intended for regions where people don't have easy access to medical treatments, where treatments are unaffordable, and where it is preferred to use safer, more natural treatments. Because of its ecological and economic aspects, it also contributes to sustainable development in communities.
The origins of this method
Martine Jourde, the the founder of this method, has a background in physiology and epidemiology and more than 30 years of experience applying homeopathy both in private practice as well as in community settings in Canada, France, Cuba and Africa. She has become an expert in the use of homeopathy to improve communities. During numerous homeopathic missions in Africa, Central and South America she developed her experiences using homeopathic complexes into a comprehensive method that is beneficial in poor regions or areas that lack medical services.
The Quebec based Terre Sans Frontières (TSF), which literally means ‘A world without Borders,’ is an international development organization working towards the sustainable development of disadvantaged people in Developing Countries. Their projects encompass humanitarian aid, community development, water and sanitation, education and gender equality. Homéopathes de Terre Sans Frontières (HTSF), a branch of TSF, has been sending homeopaths for about 15 years in Honduras providing access to effective, affordable and accessible care in the form of homeopathy. Since medical care is not widely available nor are there affordable medical solutions to many common health problems, Honduras was selected as one of the pilot project countries.
